New Beginnings

Each day begins with the choice of where, what, when......

As time has been under it's own mandate as of late, we continue with each new moment of choices and the direction of fate!

Wishing everyone a belated Christmas and an advanced prosperous New Year for 2010!

We have been staying at a great place that we highly recommend....Rancho Tranquilo in Tulum. Pepe the owner, has done an astounding job at creating an oasis in the middle of a quickly growing town, much thanks to their hospitality and the friendships we have made while here this last 13 days!!!!!!!

Has been a little slower than we thought with getting to the Hacienda, but moving date is upon us today....just in time for the blue full moon/eclipse tomorrow night!!

We had an amazing day on Sunday at the property meeting the neighbours who treated us to fresh shark ceviche made right in front of us and a delicious lobster tail for dinner later in the eve..... like nothing either of has had before!!!! The fruits of (el jardin del mar) the garden of the sea....and our front yard.

As there will be lots of building and work going on over the next few weeks we will be in a frenzy! Supplies were arriving last night by the truck loads.....in preparation for the yoga/art studio, a few more bathrooms.... and then the creativity and colour begins!!

Here are a few shots of the road to home.....our new companion Diego (pure love he is !!!).....the beach where it appears the pelicans already are practicing yoga.....these are the beginnings of our blank canvas. Many more before and after shots to come as we continue the birthing of Hacienda Del Sol.

When time allows we will post the completion of our journey to get here......have been sorting through the thousands of photos taken in the short nine days it took arrive..... the road was exactly what songs are made of!

Happy Solstice!

Much has happened over these past 2 weeks, and as we are here in Tulum the reality of time and space as we know it, just does not exist!!

This was our route of travel and as there are thousands of photos to still sort through, please be patient with the learning of posting and adding as we go.....muchas gracias amigos!

To all our friends and family that we miss so dearly at home, we send our love to you on this day that brings the light back. We are wishing you the moments of time that are cherished in our hearts together.

In honour of this.... the photos posted today are a variety of spectacular scenes of light we have encountered.....enjoy and absorb. The order of photos is erratic, again, the learning process is in progress and there are many more to come!

Arrived at midnightish last night.....jumping on the bike (RUBY) to release some car cabin fever and heading to see the ranch!!!!!!!

A Week in the Abyss!!

Cannot even begin to explain the path we have travelled!

Must first apologize for the lack of comunnication for blog entries, access has been limited at best in most areas we have travelled.

We will post randomly until settled in Tulum, so please bear with us, it's all so new!

Tons of amazing photos to share from this magical adventure.

So far hands down the most bang for the buck was in Texas....the land of the free.... where gun shots, car highjackings and kidnappings seem to be a common aspect of daily life!

We are in Veracruz this morning and hope to be in Tulum by tommorrow!!

The Journey Begins!!!

WOW!!

The journey has begun! We are almost at 24 hours since leaving our world in White Rock....the days and moments leading up to this have been a whirlwind to say the least. Those that know us well have come to know we are here for a purpose....and as we have begun our lives together, we have also embarked upon the dream of Hacienda Del Sol to create together. So as we meander down to our new home we will post whenever possible.

With all good intentions we would have liked to have seen more of everyone before leaving but the sequence of events unfolded as they did. We finally made it out of town at 11:44pm, straight to the border we went....woohoo...DAY ONE!!!

The weather and scenery has been astounding, and as we are now in Utah 24 hours later, it has been a long day to say the least. Hmmm....Moody & Ojo in Utah, how bizarre a place for us to end up!!!

Due to the need to sleep tonight.....we'll post more photos soon and you can string it all together.....the signs have been everywhere, literally & figuratively. Some have been taken specifically for our amigos back home, you will know right away if the message pertains to YOU....enjoy, you never know where the path may lead!
